Shrub
2-5 m tall; leaves ovate, alternate, truncate or cuneate at base, glabrous
above, hairy beneath, 5-10 cm long, margins shallowly-lobed, each lobe usually
coarsely dentate or entire; panicles diffuse and long, 10-17 cm, pyramidal;
flowers small and white becoming yellowish; in open woods, abundant.
