Leaves
oblong-lanceolate, acute or obtuse, 15-25 cm long, crenate with a minute callus
usually in each notch; scape 25-50 cm tall; flowers several in an umbel; corolla
lobes 1-2.5 cm long purple just below the sinuses of the lobe; filaments mostly
free, purple; anthers yellow to reddish; capsules ovoid, circumsessile; on wet
ground in the meadows in the mountains.
