Convolvulaceae                          Morning Glory Family

 Mostly twining or trailing herbs (in our area) often with milky juice; leaves alternate, no stipules; flowers single and axillary to terminal and cymose; calyx sometimes enclosed in bracts, sepals imbricate; corolla gamopetalous, usually funnelform to salverform, usualy twisted in the bud; fruit a 2-6 seeded capsule.
