Campanula rotundifolia L.                          Scotch Bluebell

Plants erect, branched from the base, 1.5-4 dm tall; lower and basal leaves ovate, entire to dentate, petioled, 0.5-4 cm long; cauline leaves linear, from a few to rather numerous 2-8 cm long; flowers several in a loose raceme or panicle, solitary on some plants; corolla blue, 1.5-3 cm long, lobes shorter than the tubes; calyx 4-11 mm long; capsule nodding, 5-8 mm long; prairies and rock cliffs from sea level to the 2000 m level in the mountains.
