Flower solitary
terminal, showy, sepals and petals rose-purple, 1.5-2.5 cm long; lip saccate,
mottled and lines, 1.5-2.5 cm long, lobed at the apex, 3 lines of whitish hairs
within; leaf solitary, petioled, basal, blade 3-5 cm long; stem 8-15 cm tall.
Fragrant. Rich leaf mold;
deep, cool, coniferous forest. An
endangered flower species.
