Large
tree reaching 30 m high and 1-2 m in diameter; bark longitudinally sulcate;
leaves 15-30 cm broad, 3-5-lobed, the lobes entire or more commonly 3-5-cleft;
flowers greenish-yellow, racemes pendant, 8-15 cm long; lower flowers infertile;
fruit hispid, wings spreading slightly, 4-5 cm long; abundant.
