searching by region, interests, and prior experience.

Heart Association
This site lists information about the AHA National Research
Program and its 15 affiliate programs. Students in these programs
become acquainted with cardiovascular and stroke research
by working with a laboratory or clinical investigator.

A summer research opportunities list for undergraduates in
physics and physics-related fields.
GrantsNet
GrantsNet, a searchable, continuously updated database of
biomedical research and science education funding opportunities,
contains programs that offer training and research funding
for graduate and medical students, postdoctoral fellows, and
junior faculty, as well as, programs in science, math, engineering,
and technology for undergraduates. Special tools and resources
help customize a search to quickly find the information. It
helps keep you up-to-date on the latest trends in research
and education funding and give you the inside scoop on writing
winning grant applications.
NASA
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is sponsoring
the NASA Undergraduate Student Research Program (NASA-USRP),
offering undergraduates across the United States mentored
research experiences at nine participating NASA Centers.
The NASA-USRP seeks applications from undergraduates enrolled
full-time in an accredited U.S. college or university. Applicants
must be rising juniors or seniors at the completion of the
current spring semester/ quarter. The program is open to those
with an academic major or demonstrated coursework concentration
in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or physical/life
sciences. The program Web site is updated in early November
with specific information for the following year.
